Gauge Connect System is manufactured with modern wire that is longer than the factory wires so it is not difficult to remove the console plate. The Gauge Connect System replaces the obsolete wire harness with a modern terminals and reduces the number of wires. It replaces aged crimp connections that can be the source of gauge problems. Simple installation, uses wire ties to mount the board.

Replace this crude assembly
The factory resistor is for the alternator and operates warm to hot. This causes the wires to oxidize and weakens the strength of the wire. Eventually the wire breaks just from the vibration of driving. Resoldering the wire doesn’t last long since the wire is now closer to the heat of the resistor.
Our solution for this resistor is this modern assembly of multiple resistors to spread the heat and terminals for the lamp socket. NO soldering or tools are needed to install and it’s a rugged long lasting construction. This solution also allows our LED Gauge Lamp light to be used for the “GEN” light indicator which will not burn-out !
